Top Rated RV Rentals in DFW
If you’re looking for RV rentals in DFW, be sure to check out our travel trailers. We are currently renting 2 mid-size campers. Both of these travel trailers are bunkhouses, which simply means they are equipped with bunk beds. They are both just under 24 feet long which seems to be a sweet spot for easier towing and having enough space for a family and longer stay.
While there are some smaller RV rentals in DFW, some of those 16 – 22 foot campers can be pretty cramped for longer stays or bigger families. So what you gain in a more manageable tow, you may sacrifice in comfort. Another thing to point out is that most of the smaller campers are single axles (meaning they only have 2 wheels) so they can get pretty bouncy while towing, canceling out what you thought would be an easy tow.
On the other side of the options are the bigger RV rentals in DFW. It will take a few feet to notice a difference so what we are talking about is travel trailers that are 28 feet long or greater. Some of these can get up to 40 feet long! While you may gain more space it comes with a much heavier trailer that is going to require more truck and be less manageable to tow.

Bonnie has an RV queen bed, 2 bunkbeds and a dinette that converts into a bed that can sleep 2 people, giving her the ability to sleep 6. She has a slideout that extends the dinette and really opens up the area. Other features include;
- larger refrigerator with separate freezer
- 3 burner stove and oven
- Bathroom not only has a shower but actual bathtub
- Outdoor propane connection for outdoor cooking
- Outdoor shower
- Roku TV
- Dual axle giving the ability to carry more cargo in the camper
Clyde is our 2018 Coleman Light LX 1925BH. Clyde is also just under 24 feet long and weighs just below 3800 pounds. He has 2 bunkbeds and a convertible dinette that can sleep 1 adult or 2 children. He also has a queen murphy bed. This is not a sleeper sofa but actually a bed that is hidden in the wall behind a sofa. We like the fact that during the day we can put the bed away to gain more space and have extra seating with the sofa. These areas give Clyde the ability to sleep 5, possibly 6 people.
Other features include;
- larger refrigerator with separate freezer
- Bathroom not only has a shower but actual bathtub
- Dual axle giving the ability to carry more cargo in the camper
- Upgraded bunk sleeping pads
- Upgraded memory foam murphy bed mattress
